Bishop Anthony Taft McKoy
Bishop Anthony T. McKoy, Founder and Senior Pastor of Abundant Faith International Ministries, Inc., was born and raised in Washington, D.C, and comes from a family of devoted Pastors and Ministers. His mother was the late Bishop Franklyn Crawford.
He was baptized at the age of nine at Bible Way Ministries Worldwide. In his late twenties, Bishop McKoy was educated in the Word and received his formal training at Bible Way Seminary College. Bishop McKoy is a trained teacher in Biblical Studies. He attended classes at the University of Maryland and the University of the District of Columbia Colleges. He is pursuing a degree in Theology.
He has dedicated his time to prison and outreach ministries and bible teaching. He was ordained as a Deacon and later a minister under the leadership of Bishop Author Presley of Little Rock Bible Way Church in Washington, D.C. Bishop McKoy was then ordained as an Elder under Pastor Denise Crawford of Hope for Life Church of Christ.
While in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Bishop McKoy received a vision from God in August 2014, and upon his return to Washington, D.C., he founded Abundant Faith International Ministries, Inc., and was ordained as Senior Pastor by Apostle-Elect Denise Crawford, Life Ministries International. Presently, under his excellent leadership, Abundant Faith is experiencing a holistic ministry that is spirit-filled, with a commitment to winning souls for Christ and preaching to provide God’s divine Word.
In June 2022, he was consecrated to the Office of Bishop by Archbishop Dr. Michael Turner of The International Evangelism College of Bishop and Ministers to serve as the South American Coordinator for the organization. Bishop McKoy is a sought-after speaker here in the United States and abroad and was blessed to share the Word of God to half a million people weekly on the airwaves at WYCB RADIO BROADCAST 1340 AM, every Saturday for nearly seven years. Bishop McKoy is recently retired from the District of Columbia Fire and EMS. He is married to Lady Glenis E. McKoy.
Glenis E. McKoy was born and raised in Guyana, South America; and came to the United States of America at the age of fourteen. She attended Woodrow Wilson Senior High School (renamed Jackson-Reed High School) in Washington, DC. After graduation, she attended The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). While at Penn State, Mrs. McKoy participated in a study aboard program in Manchester, England at the University of Manchester. She graduated with two degrees (Bachelor of Arts-Journalism & Bachelor of Arts Speech Communications) from Penn State.
After graduation, Mrs. McKoy worked for the District of Columbia Government, both at its legislative and executive branches of government during the tenure of Former Mayor Adrian Fenty. Following his defeat in 2010, Mrs. McKoy went on to her current place of employment—AT&T in its corporate office in Washington, D.C. Ms. McKoy currently serves as Director of Operations and International Convention Coordinator for the International Evangelism College of Bishop and Ministries, under the leadership of the International Presiding Prelate, Archbishop Dr. Michael C. Turner, Sr.
She is married to Bishop Anthony Taft McKoy, Senior Pastor of Abundant Faith International Ministries, Inc.; and is the mother to Aaliyah McKoy. She loves to travel, read, music, study and teaching the Word of God. Mrs. McKoy currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her family.
